In lectures, panels and presentations in a workshop-like atmosphere INSIGHT OUT provided a full week of high level insights into the current state of the art in HD film and television production at Germany’s largest film and TV school.
The 2005 Academy started with an introduction on formats and standards and continued with specific sessions, guiding through the production process – from pre-production to specific production and postproduction topics, ranging from camera comparison to colour grading, production design, visual effects and sound design, and ended with an outlook on current and future issues in classical and digital distribution. INSIGHT OUT combined lecture and hands-on elements, providing an overview as broad and comprehensive as possible and as specific and detailed as necessary. Tours and visitations at regional production facilities completed the academy programme and gave additional opportunities to test and discuss most recent technical standards and workflows.
